Children's Ministry

Preschool Age 

The goal is for each person to serve the children by caring for them during the service, engaging with them in a meaningful way to teach the children about God’s love. This person be friendly and welcoming to the families of the children and practice safety procedures to get the children back to their parents. There are 3 different age groups in their own classrooms. Ages 0-1-, 2-3- and 4–5-year-olds are the different groups. There are opportunities on Sundays and Wednesday Nights for this age group. 
Elementary Age

The goal of this ministry is to care for and teach children in kindergarten through fifth grade, helping them to develop their understanding of God and learning to love him. There are a variety of opportunities to serve this age group including Sunday morning in the Lifegroups or Children’s church setting or on Wednesday night programs. We use complete curriculums for these groups, which are provided to the leaders. The lesson plans are complete with visual aids, as well as a variety of songs, games and activities that help to reiterate the lesson. Not all helpers are responsible for teaching the lesson, so those that love this age group and want to participate are needed. 

We have a variety of activities during the each which do not require a long-term commitment. Some of these events include the Annual Easter Egg Hunt, park outings, First Gatherings with activities specifically designed for the children. As our children’s ministry grows, we are always looking for new and exciting activities to help our children grow in their relationship with Jesus.
